Atlantic Slopes Quarry Merlot 2018

The patchwork rock face of Hillcrest's quarry has watched for decades as the cool Atlantic breeze touches the surface of the lake. Our Vinyards thrive in well drained Hutton and Clovelley soils interspersed with rocks of the Malmesbury series, which imparts a distinctive minerality to our wines. 

The Quarry Merlot is a vibrant and elegant wine. The grapes are hand selected from 3 premium vinyard blocks. This Merlot presents aromas of red berries, spice and hints of dark berries on the nose. Matured tannins with a full bodied mouthfeel and lingering flavours on the palate with an oaky finish.
