Robbenzicht 2022

This classical blend, 59% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc and 11% Cabernet Sauvignon matured for 12 months in 225L French oak barrels for an elegant, well-rounded and balanced wine. 

On the nose, it offers rich, dark fruit aromas layered with spice, oak and a touch of floral perfume. The palate follows with vibrant notes of red berries, liquorice and a hint of smoke, finishing long and smooth. An ideal companion for a cozy evening with friends around the fireplace.

Maturation 

Cold soaking on skins for two nights with pump overs to extract maximum colour and flavour in a non-alcoholic environment. After fermentation, wine was racked into 2nd fill French oak barrels to mature for 12 months.
